About Shepherd's Call...
As part of our commitment to nurturing the faith journeys of all members of our parish, Shepherd's Call serves the youngest members of our flock and their families.
Shepherd's Call gives parents the opportunity to attend 9:30 Sunday Liturgy without distractions while their little ones (12 months through 4 years of age) are offered a safe environment of loving Christian care and spiritual nurturing.
Nurturing our Shepherd's Call Flock...
An age-appropriate curriculum and other early childhood development resources are in place to make this time an opportunity for our little ones to strengthen this early stage of their faith journey.
Shepherd's Call Faith Leaders...
Faith Leaders/Caregivers serving in our Shepherd's Call ministry are kind, caring, and faithful adult parishioners with Early Childhood Education experience and/or extensive experience caring for little ones. Please note that VIRTUS Requirements must be met in order to serve in this ministry.
Teens are part of our ministry! Selected parish teens are also trained to serve in the ministry and are always under the guidance of adult faith leaders when they offer their service. They share their time and joyful spirits, and the little ones love having them around!
Our goal is to maintain a ministry roster of enough Faith Leaders/Caregivers so that each member (or team) would be assigned to serve about once every four to six weeks.
