On Sunday afternoon (November 6, 2016), our 12:15 Mass was a joyous Mass of Thanksgiving for our Benedictine heritage. Concelebrating were Bishop Serratelli and Abbot Richard Cronin, and joining them on the altar was the gracious host of this celebration, Father Paddy. We, the faithful of Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Parish, express our deepest gratitude to the Benedictine Community of St. Mary’s Abbey. The monks of St. Mary’s founded this parish and, for more than nine decades, provided us with the spiritual leadership and guidance needed for us to be in relationship with our God.
