In the fall of 2016, guided by the Holy Spirit and supported by Divine Renovation Ministry, our parish embarked on a journey of renewal to move our faith community “from maintenance to mission” so that we could more fully and proactively embrace our call to be missionary disciples.  Since then, the Parish Leadership Team has supported our Pastor in implementing various strategies to further our renewed vision and mission. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the great works of our ministries, and our community's generosity, we have experienced significant fruitfulness, including the development and strengthening of leadership here at Notre Dame.  

The Synod on Synodality has brought to our hearts the need to be a listening church that listens to those on the inside and those who more closely represent the larger community. To that end, in the Fall of 2023, the Parish Leadership Team and the council members at the time undertook a discernment initiative to renew the Parish Pastoral Council at Notre Dame.  This included defining a new set of Guidelines and Operating Principles, which followed a Nomination Process (open to the parish) for the recruiting of new PPC members.

In January of 2024, the new Parish Pastoral Council was introduced to the parish, with its first kick-off meeting taking place in February 2024.
