Although it will not technically be the “last” Mass he celebrates at Notre Dame, our 12:15pm Mass on Sunday, June 14, 2015 has been designated as a celebration of Father Jude’s farewell to our parish family, and our loving farewell to him. Please join us as we gather round the Eucharistic table with one who has served us so unselfishly, wisely, and with such love these past 18 years. A light reception in the Parish Hall will follow the Mass.
Bishop Serratelli, who regards our parish highly and values the faith and joy that have always been evident here at Notre Dame, has assigned a worthy successor to Father Jude as our new pastor: Father Patrick (“Paddy”) O’Donovan. Father Paddy will feel blessed in joining our Notre Dame family, where he will be warmly welcomed and supported in whatever ways are most helpful and needed. He looks forward to this new journey, and to leading us ever closer to Christ in our next exciting phase of spiritual growth.
