This past Sunday, our chief shepherd, Bishop Serratelli, made a pastoral visit to Notre Dame to celebrate our 10:30 Mass. And what a joyous celebration it was! The Bishop’s homily on the importance of “touch” – from infancy through old age – resonated strongly with the congregation, especially following the readings about how in Jesus’ time, society rejected and scorned lepers and anyone with physical or mental disabilities. It was a special joy to hear Bishop Serratelli remark that he loves his visits to Notre Dame, giving deserved acknowledgment to the quality of our liturgical music. Thank you, Jim Keefe, our choir and musicians!
