We are excited to offer another event for our Marriage Ministry, and it is outdoors too!! We announced this hike during our kickoff meeting in September. We will be hosting a Couples Hike on Saturday, October 24th at the Tourne County Park in Denville & Boonton.
Please meet us at the parking area on the western side of the park (Old Boonton Rd. entrance) at 9:00 am. From there, we will have a two mile loop hike (orange line on map below) on a moderate trail passing some interesting terrain features, beautiful foliage, and the Boiling Spring. The picture above of the spring was taken exactly five years before the day of the hike, giving you a sense of what to expect. This hike should take approximately an hour.
Once the loop is done, the less adventurous are welcome to depart and the heartier folk will take the mile long roundtrip (gold line on map) hike to the Top of the Tourne where you can see NYC on a clear day. This is approximately a 250 foot ascension in ½ mile of hiking but well worth it for the view at the top. This should also take approximately an hour.

- Hiking boots and walking sticks are highly recommended as the trails are quite rocky.
