THIS GROUP IS CLOSED -- Join us for this scripture journey exploring the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as told by St. Luke the Evangelist. From the foretelling of John the Baptist's birth through the public ministry, Passion, death, Resurrection, and Ascension of Jesus, Luke's gospel will show us how Jesus fulfills the Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah. We'll encounter Jesus in a new way and discover how his teachings fit our lives today.
And in keeping with the new cycle of readings, we'll be able to delve into and meditate upon the gospel readings more deeply during Mass. This brand new 8-week video study by Ascension's Jeff Cavins and Dr. Jeffrey Morrow is formatted to include some home preparation, along with a video presentation and group discussion.
