This weekend, as we embark on a renewed vision and mission for the parish, I will be sharing a “vision homily” at all Masses, with special focus on one important component of our mission:
Invitation,
Welcomeand Knowing Each Other by Name. I will continue to share vision homilies on a regular basis — every 3-5 weeks or so.
I’m excited to tell you that
this Saturday and Sunday will be our first ever “
Nametag Weekend,” which I invite all to be a part of. This represents a first small step in the outreach of discipleship — getting to know each other better and welcome others who are “called by name” to visit and/or join our faith community.
