All who came out for our Christmas Concert yesterday afternoon were treated to the most glorious performance! The considerable gifts of our Adult Choir, Teen Choir and Joyful Noise combined to delight our full church with a beautiful repertoire of carols. Music Director, Jim Keefe, and Teresa Elko, who directs our Teen Choir and Joyful Noise, were maestros extraordinaire, drawing the talents and energy out of their choirs and musicians with skill and grace.
Two special highlights of the concert included a piano solo by special needs parishioner, Michael Puzio, who warmed the hearts of everyone with “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays.” Finally, Fr. Paddy and a talented friend who just relocated from Ireland brought down the house with their duet of “O Holy Night.”
To wrap up the concert, Fr. Paddy led everyone in singing the classic carol, “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas.”
Great thanks to our Music Ministry for sharing their talents, gifts and faith as we journey toward the birth of our Savior!
