On Saturday night, over 150 Cornerstone women and men – “alumni” from 15 years of Cornerstone retreats – came together for a 15th Anniversary Mass to celebrate what this spiritual awakening has meant to their own faith journeys. During the Mass, personal testimony was shared by Christel Packwood, John Ferramosca, Pam O’Connor, Mark Vaccaro, Elizabeth Parmlind, and Dick Tiel, all of whom were authentic and moving in how they described the impact that the Cornerstone experience has had on their lives.
Fr. Mariusz and Deacon Dave Collins brought the liturgy alive for everyone in the pews, while Jim Keefe and his gifted musicians added to the joy, prayerfulness, and sense of unity felt by everyone in attendance.
We are thankful for what the Cornerstone ministry has meant to Notre Dame, and for all it has contributed to deepening the faith and commitment of those who have answered the call each year.
