This past Friday evening and all day on Saturday we experienced our first Alpha “Weekend Away” at a beautiful retreat center in Florham Park – a peaceful, secluded haven surrounded by woods. We were blessed by attendance of close to 100%, with nearly 60 people coming to know the Holy Spirit personally and to experience his power in their lives.

The Weekend Away was similar to the Alpha weekly sessions, with compelling videos, small group discussions, shared meals, lots of fellowship and song, and was a time of just generally experiencing God’s unconditional love for each of us.

Feedback from both guests and team members (hosts) was overwhelmingly positive, for which we thank our awesome God and his Spirit! Here are comments about the weekend shared by some of the guests:
