There is so much joy surrounding this season, but there can also be a lot of chaos! There are decorations to put up, parties to throw, and presents to purchase. It’s so easy to let the entire month of December fly past us and totally forget why we celebrate Christmas. That’s why Fr. Alex and I are inviting you to experience this fun interactive activity at home with your family.
Together you’ll bake a batch of Christmas cookies and, along the way, hear the story of the very first Christmas. Best of all, there’s a video that walks you step-by-step through the entire experience. It’s so simple!
Here is how to complete this activity:
Step 1: Gather the ingredients. Fr. Alex and I will show you how to make snickerdoodle cookies. Step 2: Click on the video below. It will walk you step-by-step through the entire experience. Occasionally, Fr. Alex will tell you press pause and do something. When you’re finished, press play again. Step 3: Eat cookies. Possibly the best step ever! When the timer goes off, enjoy your cookies while Fr. Alex and I remind your family why Jesus is the sweetest part of Christmas.
Even though this is an at-home experience, we want to share it with our parish family! So be sure to share pictures and videos of your kids in action, with me!
